Cute :)

I have had so much fun watching the girls start to "play" together. Anna is always watching Sophia to see what she is doing & trying to imitate. Sophia went to the mailbox with Vance to get the paper. Anna climbed the stairs to Sophia's room the whole time yelling "iiiiaaaa" 

Funny Story:The girls were in the  backseat, the car seats next to each other. I hear Anna coughing & ask Sophia if she is ok. Sophia says very calmly" she's choking" I find the first place I can pull over, jump out & open Anna;s door. I fish out of Anna's throut a quarter size glob of green playdough. Yep, Sophia had been feeding it to her. Agh!!! :)

First Day of School!!!!!!!

This is Sophia getting ready for her first day of school!!!! She had seen me putting on deoderant & INSISTED on putting it all over her arms - "Me want to smell SOOOOOOO GOOOOOD for my teacher" hee hee

Today was Sophia's first day of school!!! Anna, & I, our Momma friends: Jen, & Lynn with their youngest kids, took Sophia & her friends Christian(Lynn's) & Julia (Jen's) to their first day of 3 yr old preschool. So really, it's pre-pre- school. But who's counting! When I snapped the picture, I SWEAR Sophia did not have her finger up her nose! We are standing by Sophia's locker :) On the way home Sophia was SO tired, she was trying to sleep in her car seat. I could hear Anna laughing & looked in the rear view mirror to see her chubby hand pull Sophia's hair. Sophia said "Anna, leave me alone, me trying to sleep".   The last picture is Anna & I "tailgating" at the park while Sophia was at school. The Mommas had all talked about tailgating- (we brought breakfast & coffee) on the first day of pre-school since Sophia & her friends were just wee little babes. How WONDERFUL to have friends to share these moments!!! :)

Outside & funny

We are all the happiest when we can be outside. It has been such a rainy cold spring that we were so happy to get out & these 2 are so cute together!!!! Anna loves the swing & Sophia is (for the most part) gentle when she is pushing... Funny story: Sophia & I were walking the long drive to the mailbox, noticing all the "anthills" on the side. In her 2 1/2 yr old voice  saying "anthill" sounded a lot like "a** holes". I was laughing SO hard at every "Momma, look at that big a**hole (anthill)", "there are so many a**holes (anthills)" hee hee

Songs to sing

Sophia has been asking "Momma sing me a song" Agh... I can NEVER remember words to songs, no matter how many times I have listened to them! So, I've been going thru the 'ol ipod to see what I can find...Songs that the words are meaningful, & not the typical "kids songs"  Here's my list so far- LOVE these! I wish I could attach sound files... & PLEASE if you have any suggestions, I'd love to add them to the list!

Cute chicks

Anna is eating food! She LOVES real food, but isn't too fond of baby food. She was shaking with pure excitement while eating a real peach. Could you imagine being so easy to please?  She also really likes mashed potatoes, banannas, toast, muffins, apples & the occational sucker that Sophia lets her try. hee hee.

These are some of our new cute chicks! This would've been a cute photo opp for the girls with the chicks... but I was the one holding the chicks while Sophia would pet them. We tried to let Anna pet them. She would start gentle & then try to grab/squish them, so she is banned from chick petting till next year. :) The chicks were delivered to the post office- crazy! Then the girls & I went to pick them up & brought them to their home under the heat lamps. Sophia & I go out to the barn everyday. She likes to be the boss, so she'll say "Momma you need to scoop out the poop""There is some there.... & there.... & there" "Momma you need to give them new water" "Momma they need more food too" :)

Sophia just got a new kids digital camera. These are from her point of view! I am thrilled with this- how fun to see her perspective! 

Hppy Birthday

It is my Mom's birthday today & I'd like to tell her how much we love her!!! This was our "card" emailed this morning. (Please forgive the less then perfect Photoshop work. There were a few distractions while working on it :) ) We do LOVE & Miss you Momma!
