Anna is eating food! She LOVES real food, but isn't too fond of baby food. She was shaking with pure excitement while eating a real peach. Could you imagine being so easy to please? She also really likes mashed potatoes, banannas, toast, muffins, apples & the occational sucker that Sophia lets her try. hee hee.
These are some of our new cute chicks! This would've been a cute photo opp for the girls with the chicks... but I was the one holding the chicks while Sophia would pet them. We tried to let Anna pet them. She would start gentle & then try to grab/squish them, so she is banned from chick petting till next year. :) The chicks were delivered to the post office- crazy! Then the girls & I went to pick them up & brought them to their home under the heat lamps. Sophia & I go out to the barn everyday. She likes to be the boss, so she'll say "Momma you need to scoop out the poop""There is some there.... & there.... & there" "Momma you need to give them new water" "Momma they need more food too" :) 
Sophia just got a new kids digital camera. These are from her point of view! I am thrilled with this- how fun to see her perspective! 
It is my Mom's birthday today & I'd like to tell her how much we love her!!! This was our "card" emailed this morning. (Please forgive the less then perfect Photoshop work. There were a few distractions while working on it :) ) We do LOVE & Miss you Momma! 
The other day the girls were on the bathroom floor waiting for the tub to fill up, Sophia had a grape sucker. They were gigling, until I opened the door. Then silence. I told Sophia that it seemed like they were up to something... she said I was just sharing my sucker.On cue Anna smiles & licks her lips. Really, this already!? What am I in for? :)
Last weekend we went to a huge garden center with Grandma Opal. What a fun place for little ones to see color! Anna's chubby fingers were touching all kinds of colors, textures & patterns. For an hour we were in paradise! 
This was our 'Welcome Spring" sidewalk drawing. It was a few days entertainment. Of course Sophia has a snack- that girl LOVES to eat! That is Yellow Kitty, Sophia has a clever naming system for the farm animals: The animals color + the kind of animal = it's name.
